Hi! I'm Jess, a graphic designer based in Chicago, IL. A graduate of Michigan State University, I use my experiences working in both the advertising and non-profit worlds to produce quality, creative work, delivered on time and for a reasonable, professional price.
Fresh out of college, I jumped into a graphic design role at the Chicago Housing Authority. With no formal design training, I managed to quickly teach myself the ropes and worked on various creative advertising campaigns directly reaching over 50,000 individuals. When the opportunity came along to work at an advertising agency as an Account Coordinator, I took the job to get a feel for agency life. After successfully managing over 200 accounts worth over $5 million, I followed my passion back to graphic design and went to work for a mid-size non-profit as the in-house graphic designer and marketing manager. Today, I'm making my way as a freelance graphic designer while also working full time. I have a passion for fun, modern design and have experience designing annual reports, newsletters, emails, social share images, gala invitation packages, business cards, animated videos, posters, t-shirts, direct mail, and more.
When not in the studio, I spend my time decorating, reading, practicing piano, and exploring the city.
