Hi! I'm Jess, a graphic designer and developer based on planet Earth (originally Chicago). Using my experience in both the advertising and non-profit worlds, I produce quality, creative work that exceeds my clients' expectations.

After graduating in Advertising from Michigan State University, I jumped into a graphic design role at the Chicago Housing Authority. As a self-taught designer, I managed to quickly teach myself the ropes and worked on various creative advertising campaigns directly reaching over 50,000 individuals. When the opportunity came along to work at an advertising agency as an Account Coordinator, I took the job to get a feel for agency life. After successfully managing over 200 accounts worth over $5 million, I followed my passion by returning to graphic design and working for a mid-size non-profit as the in-house graphic designer and marketing manager. This helped me gain the experience I needed to nail my then-dream job as a full-time graphic designer at a large corporation.

Five amazing years later, still at the same corporation but with a shiny new title of Multimedia Developer II, I received an offer for my new dream job. I couldn’t turn it down, and a few wild and short months later, I found myself living in Istanbul, Turkey and working for the United Nations as a social media and motion graphics designer.

When not in the studio, I'm busy with photography, piano, cooking, reading and exploring the world.
